“As a Lead Generation Intern at SEOEnhancers, you will identify potential clients, collect business data, and support outreach activities to generate quality leads for the sales team.”

You’ll be the engine behind our client pipeline — researching businesses, finding decision-makers, building contact lists, and supporting the outreach process that turns cold prospects into warm opportunities. If you enjoy research, communication, and the thrill of building connections, this role is for you.

What you’ll do every day

Prospect Identification & Research
  • Identify potential clients across industries — local businesses, startups, SMEs, and e-commerce brands
  • Research target companies using LinkedIn, Google Maps, Justdial, Sulekha, and business directories
  • Find and verify key decision-makers — founders, marketing heads, and business owners
  • Analyse competitor clients and industry trends to identify high-potential lead segments
  • Build targeted prospect lists based on location, industry, company size, and service needs
Data Collection & Management
  • Collect and organize business contact data — name, email, phone, website, and LinkedIn profile
  • Maintain and update lead databases in Google Sheets or CRM tools accurately
  • Verify email addresses and contact details using tools like Hunter.io or Apollo.io
  • Segment leads by priority, industry, and stage in the outreach pipeline
  • Ensure data hygiene — no duplicates, outdated records, or incomplete entries
Outreach & Sales Support
  • Assist in drafting cold outreach emails, LinkedIn connection messages, and WhatsApp scripts
  • Support the sales team in sending introductory emails and follow-up sequences
  • Monitor outreach responses and flag interested leads for the sales team immediately
  • Help prepare pitch decks, company credentials, and service brochures for client meetings
  • Assist in scheduling discovery calls and demos between prospects and the sales team
Reporting & Tracking
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation numbers against targets
  • Prepare structured lead reports and share updates with the sales and marketing team
  • Monitor the status of each lead — contacted, responded, interested, not interested, converted
  • Identify patterns in successful outreach and suggest improvements to the lead generation strategy

Skills & qualifications

We need someone who’s a natural researcher — curious, persistent, and detail-obsessed about finding the right people.

  • Pursuing or completed a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or any related field
  • Strong research skills — ability to find business information quickly and accurately across platforms
  • Good written communication skills — able to draft professional, concise outreach messages
  • Comfortable working with Google Sheets for data entry, sorting, and organizing large lists
  • Basic understanding of B2B sales, digital marketing services, or lead funnels is a plus
  • Highly organized and target-oriented — able to meet daily and weekly lead quotas consistently
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude — doesn’t wait to be assigned every task
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, CRM tools, or email outreach platforms is an added advantage
  • Freshers with strong research and communication skills are welcome to apply

Quick facts

  • Position: Lead Generation Intern
  • Location: Remote / Hybrid (Trichy preferred)
  • Duration: 3–6 months (extendable)
  • Start date: Immediate
  • Stipend: ₹2,000–₹5,000/month (based on skills only. Not for all the Interns)
  • Working hours: 8 hrs/day, Mon–Fri
